How Transfers Work

SendMyFile uses secure, encrypted connections for file transfer. Whenever possible, files are transferred directly between devices (peer-to-peer).

What We Do Not Store

• No file contents are stored on our servers
• No copies of your files are retained after transfer

Server Role

Our server may be used to help devices find each other (connection signaling). This signaling is required to establish the encrypted connection between peers.

We may process basic connection metadata (e.g., timestamps and IP address in server logs) for security and abuse prevention.
